First drawing in over two years...

It has been so long since I had even the slightest inclination to do anything "arty" but I am on vacation and rather than work on emptying out boxes from our move in Oct. 2010, I seized the opportunity to "productively procrastinate"! I know this drawing has many flaws, but I thought I would publish it so that I wouldn't be tempted to 'mess with it' any more. Every time I did 'fix' something I wrecked something else so I said 'time to quit'. I really would like to get back to making art everyday. It felt really good to work on this project.

Oh, I don't know - I don't see a lot of flaws with this! But it's good that you knew when to step away, that's probably the hardest part.

Hi, I saw your post on EDM so stopped by as I have just started trying to draw/create again for the first time in a while too (I love the way you put it as productive procrastination!) Like you I'm on holidays at the moment, so the hope is if I start now I'll be 'back in the habit' when I go back to work, good luck to both of us for keeping it up hey?! I really like the tray of objects in this drawing.
